A Night with the Irish Poets
 

We are delighted to invite you to our annual Night with the Irish Poets, a cherished Hibernian Society tradition.

 

This year’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade theme, “A Celtic Odyssey,” invites reflection on journeys -- across water and generations, away from home and toward it again. Irish poetry has long traced these same paths: of exile and belonging, loss and return, the pull of memory and the promise of new shores. The evening will feature readings from works by Eavan Boland, Seamus Heaney, Paul Muldoon, W. B. Yeats and many others, interspersed with traditional Irish music performed by our talented session musicians.

Light refreshments will be served. The event is free and open to all; donations to Our Lady of Lourdes are gratefully accepted.
